BBS cellar ceiling
Squared timber is screwed onto the outer cellar wall and serves as a support for the ceiling elements. The ceiling elements are placed onto the inner walls of the cellar by use of an EPDM sealing profile.

BBS storey ceiling
The ceiling elements lie flush on the outer walls of the basement. The walls of the upper floor are directly laid onto the ceiling elements. With outer walls that are higher than one floor, the ceiling elements are fitted on the inside. The elements are erected onto a support [timber, steel …], that is screwed together with the outer wall.

A circular countersinking in the wall elements makes it possible to connect the ceiling elements without any additional support; however, this requires a wall thickness of at least 148mm.
